Default Anyone's 1 key sticking?

Please Login to Remove!

i've had this problem with two BB800's now, so i think it's not a random problem. what happens is that occasionally, my number 1 key sticks when dialing a number and the tone just goes continually, freezing the BB up. I cant do anything with the phone until i reset it.

One thing i did notice was that the problem only started happening after i updated my bb with jibi's vendor themes alx's.

anyone else having this problem?

have you tried reversing the change and seeing if your 1 keys unstick?

The only thing that it could be that would have anything to do with jibi's .alx files would be the theme you are using. Beyond that, it's just coincidental with loading the themes.

I did not realize a theme could effect a key.

Interesting.

well, no...the main reason is that i cant bear to go back to the factory standard after getting the additional themes. the 1 key sticks about once every two weeks, so it's bearable if i just yank the battery. also i'm not positive it was jibi's alx files that caused the problem. i also installed a couple 3rd party apps that may have caused it. i was just curious if i was the only one with the problem.

as john clark just suggested, i'll try switching themes to see if that helps.
thanks.

Default same problem

I have had the same problem, happens once every few weeks. I hit my red button to clear the phone number, then I start dialing again.

I don't have the problem with the one key sticking, i have the other problem, with my end key not making the connection. frustrating besides the great phone that it is with these minor problems.

I would go out on a limb here and say that a certain theme won't cause a key to stick about once every two weeks. I just don't think that is "theme-able".
