All that for something that was posted 5 days ago?

Did you bother to search before posting this?

Yea, you're a bit late to that announcement.

Please go make some useful posts to reach your ten posts...

I'm confused. Why is it "'bout freaking time" RIM give away free server software? They're in the game to make a profit & charging for products/services allows them to fund R&D.

And they have been giving away free server software: The previous BES Express, Unite, Blackberry Professional. I really like what I've read about their latest offering, and I'm happy their doing it, but what is it with people expecting service for free?

In all fairness. My post was before his others were deleted. He posted 10 random posts 1... 2... 3... and so on as individual posts just to get his post count up.

I don't know that it's an expectation of service for free. I think it's more of an expectation to buy the device, pay for the data plan, and NOT have to pay additional fees for services to make use of the device and data plan. My two cents...

In this day and age, for too many people it comes down to "free", not "quality". I ask myself this question everyday as morons put me down until I give them a discount. (Trick is I only discount the nice people )

Couldn't agree more. I'd rather pay a little more and receive a better product or service rather than getting the same for free and finding it's of poor quality. You avatar reminds me of the commercial (at least in the US) where the $5 hair cut place opens across from a barber and he puts up the sign indicating that his shop fixes $5 haircuts. I'm firm believer that, in most cases, you get what you pay for.

Nice! They should have more commercials like that. We are in an age of "what can I get for free", and people aren't educated in what costs go into operation. I've had quite a few customers have the balls to say that we should be paying them to be our customer.

Now, are you saying my hair looks like it was cut for five dollars?

What's with people calling me Noodles? I'm only one person so I should not be pluralized, haha.

I'm sorry, I took it this morning. Ten seconds after changing my avatar I got a message from someone offering me their pin. I feel pretty good looking right now

And I'm trying to beat out Kathyn's eye picture in most startling picture.

"People" should also know that revenue models don't only scale vertically, not any more at least. Welcome to the interwebz.
