It is extremely simple, just follow the directions to the T and you will have no issues whatsoever and it will go smooth as glass.

That is the correct download, English UK language is included in the download.

Install Desktop Manager.....
Install OS (downloaded from here)
Remove vendor.xml
Just plug Blackberry, Open DM and you should be prompt to update your software...

Is this upgrade any better then the 4.5.0.81 (platform 2.7.0.78) I recieved at work today? The volume is garbage with the .81 update.

I've been running 8320/4.5.0.110 since it was posted, although free memory is over 15MB -probably because I've removed pretty much every application except for basic phone, browser and email- Is it normal that with all that free memory I have to wait like 8-10 seconds for it to open anything? Email, phone, even when closing an app takes several seconds to go back to home screen?
The other thing is the DM is no longer able to back up the data so if I upgrade I'll probably lose all my data, but if this OS runs faster I'm willing to take that chance.
Is this OS any faster than 4.5.0.110 ?
Thank you guys for your help.

After updating my curve would freeze every few days requiring a battery pull. Then I formatted my memory card about 2 weeks ago and now it has been rock solid since.

Thanks,

That's usually a router issue. What kind of router and is it's firmware up to date? Also, sitting too close to the router can cause problems like that too.

Personally, I will not buy any more Linksys routers. I have a WRT54GS that was working great with my 8320. I then got the 8900 and had all sorts of problems until I flashed the firmware with dd-wrt. Then it worked great.

I bought a DLink DIR-825 for a relative and I have to say it's the best out-of-the-box router I've ever used. Worked perfectly. I'm done with Linksys.

I have the Linksys WRT610N which does both dual wireless N and G at the same time on two diff spectrum's and the thing works like a beauty. Just when I get in here to work .. lol my signal sucks on JUST my floor and the router is the only thing helping me out.
