Default Keyboard

Has anyone had the problem that when you flip into landscape mode the keyboard does not go to full, instead it is compressed to the left. I have to exit out of what I was typing and be in landscape then navigate to where I was.

No real difference.

Yes, you can remove the VZ Nav application if you don't want it. I have used it and now have it not loaded. There's really no need to run crackmem, I don't remove any cods first like that, just uncheck a few languages and VZ Nav during the loader process.
Thank you, sir. Will have a go at it this weekend...

Removed Weatherbug, updated and it feels as if I have a new phone

yesterday I was <> that close to trading it in I was so disgusted with the lag, lockups and just overall piss poor performance.

24 hours of use later and all the major issues I was tired of seem to be gone. Even KB function is better

Not sure which is more the cause: Losing WeatherBog or the update but whatever it is I'm glad I did it

I don't see any improvement or changes over the .132 version. Think I'll stay pat for now.

I got rid of weatherbug as well, and my storm has run much better ever since.

I've found BBWeather to be a great replacement for weather bug ... OTA download here ... http://blackberrytools.sourceforge.n.../BBWeather.jad

When I look at available memory I get the following:

Application memory: now reads zero. It had been reading like 2 Meg
Device memory: 879MB
Media Card: 7.3 GB

So what now?
Update a few weeks later. I was able to finally update the system through the website. It would never work over the air.

At first I thought it was a big improvement. I like the box to help you find a specific location in text when editing and the problem with it not connecting when it wakes up in the morning seems to be fixed.

As time has gone by though I find that it seems to run a lot slower, and the keyboard lock / unlock has such a lag that I find I hit it twice thinking i missed the first time. Then of course it unlocks and relocks.

What are others thinking about this upgrade?

I've been using now for 2 weeks my Storm, a sweet device it is...

A couple of days it upgraded the software to v 4.7.0.151 (I'm using Iusacell Mexico).

I'm still trying to figure out the changes... anyone can comment on this?
