Very cool, dollar5 mediaplayer does indeed enable you to listen to media on an 8800 via bluetooth. Thanks MrKyoo.

I am unable to find this option in setup (or elsewhere). With my Motorola Headset paired all sound still comes through the speaker.

For me the connection must be established (not just paired but connection established) before the media player is launched, if I launch the media player first an then establish a connection sound continues to play through the speaker. No other options or settings were necessary for me.

Still no luck for me on this. What type of headset are you using?

Thanks

Plantronics M2500, I just turned it on, accepted the connection, launched the media player and viola, sound via the bluetooth instead of the speaker

I use the Blackberry HS-655 (Plantronics) and it works great on my Pearl (v4.2.1). It need only be paired up and turned on then when I start the player it comes through the headset. I have noticed, however, that I get no sound from the speaker anymore, whether the headset is on or not.

Have you tried it with dollars5's mediaPlayer? Are you running the latest version of the 8800 OS?
