i installed it on my pearl...and i had a ton of bugs.

My status light would always blink, and if i went to turn it off, it would just stay on permanently.

Java apps would never work right and I would get errors.

It also did something buggy to my camera.

Did you remove color pearl? did you make sure to install docs to go?

Those 2 things would have made ur experience a lot better.

I just got a new 8120 from Rogers and it has 4.5.0.37 installed direct from the factory!!

I am gonna keep it!! Everything works great!! UMA excellent sound and reception!! And the A2DP stereo works a million times better with my Motorola S9's no skipping or cutting out!! Love it! Not a scratch it was in a brand new Red Rogers box and sealed and marked with the Rogers logo!!!

Who's to say you didn't install 4.5.0.37 yourself at this point?

I think if you're happy with your phone you should keep it. We're all just trying to tell ya that 4.5 is not out yet.

Heck, I've sold BB's before and they look brand new. I always take care of the box, the manuals and CDs are never opened and remain in the shrink wrap, I don't use the case so it's always brand new...I don't even open up the charger box cause I've been using the same charger for awhile. So when I go to sell it, people are always amazed that I never really used anything other than the BB itself.

I think we're just trying to say that someone might have loaded 4.5 on their new BB, had problems with it and returned it. Then, you got it looked new to them so they just boxed it up.

But, again, if you're happy...I say congrats!

Yes, JL_Cmder will work on Vista. Make sure you "Run as Administrator" by right clicking on the .exe file and selecting "Run As Administrator."

As far as 4.5 being installed on the 8120, it could be possible. Rogers has just released the 8120 and doesn't even have an OS available for it on their download site. I'm not going to say either way, but it's possible. I'd be interested to see if anyone else reports this.

sorry my old 8100 camera is crap and this pic ain't the greatest and i know people are gonna say i loaded the os on after i got it but i didn't either way it came with 4.5.0.37 and i love it used or not everything works great!
