Default Keypad locks and unlocks at its own after upgrade

Please Login to Remove!

I've updated the software to the latest version and am facing strange problem. My device keeps on locking and unlocking itself on its own. While working on it, automatically the keypad gets locked and without unlocking it by myself, it unlocks on its own as well. This keeps on happening and is very irritating.

The details of my device after update is
Blackberry 9700
smartphone (3G, Wi-Fi)
v5.0.0442 (Platform 5.1.0.121)
3G Bands 1,2,5,6

Please let me have a solution.

I'm having bluetooth connectivity issues with this upgrade.

I have to delete device and pair it every time I want to connect. Even then its not always guaranteed to connect. Sometimes I need to do it more than once.

EastAsia Langauge OS: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...4B931C35A169B0

Instructions for installing on ANY carrier's 9700:

1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it's done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization."
If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again, and it should load the OS to the device.

For the previous OS, see this link: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...east-asia.html
i followed the instructions & downloaded the link. The OS on my bb 9700 is upgraded and now the sms messages show names of sender. However, I found a bigger problem after...that is by going into the calendar, clicking on any time slot and add a new appointment, the screen shows defective areas. Can't seem to correct the calendar error of adding a new appointment. Why is that? Does anyone else experience this problem? I am with Rogers as my provider. Thanks!
