There is no option. Flash is currently not supported on BlackBerry devices. You can still view websites, however, if there is flash on the web page, you won't be able to view it.

My knowledge is not great about smart phones but for example, nexus one/HTC Trophy... have flash lite

There are more and more phones have flash.

We pay lots of money for BBs but they don't put flash(which is not required great great technology, many years BB users waiting for it.) I'm upset.
Anyway i'll wait for about 1 months, i'll decide on a phone which i need.

HTC Hd2 has "flash lite" only in IE not Opera, and sucks.
As most of the Flash on sites is in old flash code, which Flash lite cannot read either.

Neither the BB nor the iPhone have Flash. Sounds to me like you haven't done your homework. Also sounds like Adobe is partly responsible for your anguish. Choose carefully. Do your research so you won't be upset.

Don't waste your time then, Flash won't be available within the next month, so go ahead and get the device you feel best serves your needs for Flash.

You're pretty limited in choices, so it won't be a difficult decision.

palm pre and pixi support flash, bb will have it but not for a couple months, iphone will never get it (adobe wanted to make it for ifadphone but steve jobs is blocking it as an app) because apple will loose game sales to web based flash games.

Today, i took my hand 9700, it is great telephone. It is easy to write even for me (first time)Of course it was closed, so i couldn't see screen but i read that it has high resolution. I'll wait a bit and i'll take my decision. 9700 is great phone, it is sure, we can say that!

Can you be more specific as to what type of websites that run on flash you want to use?

It seems that most site that want to be accessed on Smartphones have their own mobile version.

The question of wether a device runs flash might become more relevant when the apple ipad comes out. With it having a bigger screen it will definitely increase the scope of websites you want to visit, and in turn you will loose out if it does not have a flash capability.

I have never used smartphone in my life. My phone is 4 years old I searched several websites to read and re-read to choose best phone for me. I want to use my future phone for my business. And i am addicted of internet, so i want to visit every page on net without problem (as i visit on my computer). Because of that i focussed 9700. And everyone says that 9700 battery is great too!It is another "very important" side for me.
Same time, on the net, without flash, most of site is a little empty.

I don't know if i can watch video on google video or youtube when i need to watch a clip or listen to music. I don't know if i can play flash games on my phone when i waiting for my train,...

I don't think, i ask so much, no or yes?
Otherwise 9700 is the best phone for me, it is sure, i hope, i can use it one day.

There is an application available for the blackberry 9700 called auto standby that helps increase the battery life.

If you are looking for a smartphone for your business, then it is hard to beat the blackberry because of the BBM (blackberry messenger) system. This will allow you to communicate with other blackberry users worldwide without the cost of text messaging. It also shows you if the person has read your post or not.

For videos or youtube i prefer the iphone.

I don't like watching tv. Sometimes, i love watching clips, that's all. And what about internet connection speed? It is same speed as computer (with same connection wifi)?
