I apologize that you feel that the GPS and Bluetooth services have been locked out on your BlackBerry 8703e device. ANd this lil gem.....
Dear Ken Kirkaldy,

Thank you again for contacting our Verizon Wireless website. We apologize for any frustration with the capabilities of the Verizon Wireless Blackberry 8703e. We are happy to assist you with your concern with the Blackberry 8703e using Bluetooth.

Each carrier has different functionalities enabled and features that we support with our devices. The Blackberry 8703e does not have all the same features of other PDA/Smartphones that we have available that do have the ability to be used as a Bluetooth modem. With this being said the Blackberry 8703e has Bluetooth hands-free headset and Bluetooth car kit support available and you are able to use it as a tethered modem.

Verizon Wireless is committed to providing the very latest in products and services. At this time, we are unable to state if or when the Blackberry 8703e will be offered to Verizon Wireless customers with more Bluetooth support. We understand and apologize for any frustration regarding this but we are only able to provide information regarding products or services that we are currently offering. We are unable to disclose any unconfirmed information because it would be subject to change and could raise expectations that may not be met.

If you have further questions or concerns, please write to us again through www.VerizonWireless.com. We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing Verizon Wireless.

Sincerely,

Gaylan
