Default JVM Error 506 - Reset HELP

Please Login to Remove!

I just tried to load Quick IM on my Blackberry 7250 and, after the application loader was done, the 7250 rebooted and died with a strange circle with a line through it in the center of the screen. I have tried resetting the unit but keep getting the message JVM Error 506 - Reset. I have tried resetting several times but keep getting the error message. What did I do to cause this and how do I fix it?

Dusty, if you are using a 7250 as suggested, reload the 4.0 bundle 319. After reloading, this JVM error should be corrected.

After talking with the Verizon tech service folks, I believe that my trusty Blackberry has gone to the great jelly factory in the sky. It appears that when I tried to load the Quick IM software, something happened that caused my 7250 to lose its mind. We tried reloading the operating system but the desktop manager no longer recognizes the unit. I am told that I should have a refurbished replacement unit by Monday. I don't know how I'll survive 3 days without it. Sob, Sob....

Default your tech support are not the best

just ebcause desktop manager does not connect to the blackberry the application loader will pick it up and allow you to reload the software,,, if theres stuff on it you need use application loader to reload the o/s 4.0 then do a synch.. backing up may be your problem as your backup can be corrupted and reloading them reloads the problem back to the device after fixing it.. so do a synch to get your contacts... leave the rest alone
