Default todo list questions from new bold owner

Please Login to Remove!

I've had my bold for a month or so now and I'm wondering if there are options / hidden tricks or anything do get the todo list working well.

First, is there a way to turn off the save/cancel dialog? If I go into a task to change the category, I am asked to save 2 times!

Second, is there a way to not "follow" a saved task after making a change. What I mean by this is, if I go into a task and change the priority and save it, the focus on the list changes so I am still looking at the changed task. When I use a todo list, I often change the priority of several tasks in a row. If I am looking at the high priority tasks, I'd like to still be looking at the high priority tasks after moving a task down the list of priorities.

Thanks in advance

I've looked at TodoMatrix and it isn't what I want. I've also looked at a couple of todo apps but haven't found anything that meets my needs.

If there is anything else out there with the following.

1. syncs with outlook tasks
2. not internet based (like remember the milk)
3. simple list with ability to set priorities and categories from the list would be excellent

I'd love it if there was an app just like the default app for the blackberry, but just without so many prompts and scrolling around.

It's funny how things work out. I didn't really think about the todo list as something to evaluate when buying the bold. But it turns out I use the todo list all the time and I'm feeling some serious pain at not having something as easy to use. I hate to say it, but I got a bold when my treo 650 died and I'm actually thinking of switching back to palm OS just for the todo list. It did exactly what I want.
