Since the blackbery bold came out in November, I already know you haven't had it more than a year. Your bold is still under warrenty, I would recommend to call RIM or your carrier to find out if you can get a replacement.
They will tell you that it will be referbished, but I had a replacement sent in December, and it was brand new. The reason is because they don't have referbished ones yet since this phone is so new. That might have changed now, but maybe not.
