Default Please help me with my Bold***

Please Login to Remove!

I have a blackberry bold from AT&T(it's unlocked) but I live in Canada and am under a company called bell mobility I need the data to work but it will not any tips on how to unlock data on my phone ? The bell tech people said that i have to go into the bold nad unlock the data? PLEASE HELP! i spent 350 for this phone

Phones are normally sold "locked" to the wireless provider that sold them. In this case AT&T. You have to get your phone "unlocked" from the provider. Search the forum, or use your favourite search engine to find someone who will provide you with an unlock code.

You have 2 options:
1. Call ATT and ask them for an unlock code. They usually give out unlock codes.
2. If ATT does not do it go to HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center ß

my phone is unlocked!!! it works for bell, i am suing it right now, but the data is not working... the bell sign doesnt show up besides the 3g

I have the $15 social Networking plan (BBM, Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo messenger, msn messenger, and google messenger for free)

You need the blackberry data plan- BIS - Blackberry Internet Service. I just went to Bell's website, you need the smartphone plan: Bell - Business On The Go - Smartphone combo plans

so, it wont work with the $15 plan that gives me Unlimited (BBM, Yahoo, Google talk, etc) Also, my phone i bought from craigstlist, unlocked... wasted $300 something on it!

I take it this is the plan you are on. Looks like it should work. You should be talking to Bell support and going up the chain till you find someone who can fix it or tell you it work work.
