I was using my phone a few minutes before it happened and it was working just fine...later i pull my phone out of my pocket and the screen is blank/white. I tried pulling out the battery and leaving it aside for hours...what can i do now?

If you pulled the battery with the device on and left it out a while, reinserted and let it boot and that did nothing maybe you need to wipe it with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and reload the OS (yellow sticky at the top of the 9300 section).
