LOL... T-mo fanboi alert... inflammatory? Outrageous?

Thanks for the chuckle...

Of course they screwed it up. Nobody had a frikkin clue what was going on, most people have never heard of a service book, and many were (and still are) without email.

My only problem is trying to figure out how I can get the reply to address changed to something different than my @tmo.bb.net address. The last thing I need is a bunch of BS pushed to my BB everyday because people have my phone email address. I'd rather my mom not forward 10 emails a day to my phone but telling her don't email me would break her heart. Anyone know how to set this up? I do see the option to change the address you are emailing from when you type an email but its still showing up as my tmo.bb.net address.

And my emails are still a little messed up. I'm getting emails now but its not the most seemless process anymore.

it would suck if for every single email I have to choose what address I want to reply from so my tmo.bb.net address doesn't show up. I'd rather it default to the email you got the email in unless you have it set up otherwise. It doesn't seem to work that way.

And since they are trying to work directly with the internet email providers, I wonder if they will change their pop3 settings to something less than 15 minutes. It sucks cause I wanna turn off the pop3 cause forwarding enables push. But when forwarding and pop3 on I get two of the same damn emails everytime. If I turn off the pop3 the whole wireless reconciliation and sent from address probably won't work right.

Looks like you can freely mix email addresses (jack@abc.com) and domains (abc.com) separated by a semicolon. The domains won't work if you have a space after the semicolon, as it's probably scanning for the domain name with a space in front.

OK, something is weird! I can get everything sent to me from work (BES). I can NOT however get things sent to me from GMail. Also, this is my personal favorite.. I can send items "using" gmail.. but they dont arrive on the gmail page! Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I dont want to get myself thrown off the BES at work.. is there anything I can do?

For BIS users who are getting email.... How is the delete function working for you?

I am pushing mail from an IMAP server with separate sent, deleted, draft, etc folders. When i delete from the BB, it purges the message entirely on the server. Has anyone gotten it to move deleted messages to their trash folder?

Yupp... now I can't get to the new Blackberry setup page on the T-Mobile site. And the last email I received (forwarded from GMail) came to the BB 45 minutes after it came into Gmail. Sheesh...!

45 minutes from Gmail? Consider yourself lucky.. its been 2 hours and my yellow/red LED hasnt shown even a blip. So frustrating! Of course, my BES (work) e-mail gets here in lightning speed LOL

Same issue here. I was going to setup all of my accounts on the tmobile site until I figured out that they were just being popped. That is not push email at all. I will stick to having everything forwarded to gmail then forwarded to my bb. I just hate that I can't then reply to emails with the correct "sent from"

By the way, I sent my service books and all my emails came down..but then they stopped again. I have tried pulling the battery, resending service books, etc with no success. Now when I go to the tmo site and try to resend the service books, it says "unable to send service books, try again later".

I am getting emails fine on my BB 7230. I have te individual data plan and now when I delete emails I get an option to "Delete from Mailbox/handheld" or "Delete from Handheld".
Everything seems to work fine other than that new option.

Nothing working for me: can send, but not receive. Have resent Service Books and they show up as active.

I noticed that under Options-Messaging (CMIME) there is a choice of Web Client or [email address]. Not sure if this is new, or was always there. Tried both, but neither helped with incoming messages. Anyone know what the correct setting should be?

Also, there is still a Web Client service book. Should this be deleted?

The Web client service book is the same as @tmo.blackberry.net.

Just for fun...

Are we going to get any kind of credit for all the problems?
If this keeps up on Monday, it might cost me.

I'm able access to the NEW bis webportal from http://my.t-mobile.com via desktop web browser or http://bwc.t-mobile.com from my T-Mobile 7100 wap browser.

This link has more information regarding logging in http://t-mobile.com/bisupgrade/

This is unbelieveable...

I mean, I will give grace to a certain extent but this is ridiculous. When I start back tomorrow at work this better be rectified or T-mobile will be granting me some sort of credit - cause its gonna cost me...

Nice going T-Mobile... "Get more"...

What about Yahoo email? Does it actually use push as oppose to other email accounts which takes 15 mins to wait for the fetch process?
