i have a number of people in my address book that have no email address. Is it possible to add them to the speed dial? so far, I have been selecting the name I want and clicking "email xyz." Is that the right way to add names?

Mark,
FYI when I removed the usual version and replaced it with the WAP version everything was still as I had set it up except for the RSS feeds. They all went away.

Biellos, you are doing the speeddial correctly. To get ones in there that have no email address you'll have to add a dummy address for a moment. Then you can get rid of it once PocketDay knows it.

ahovis, yes I knew that would happen. Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (7290: Mozilla/2.0 (compatible; MSIE 3.02; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320) BlackBerry7290/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

Y! 'S News feed seems to work well. I think that would be considered RDF. Would parsing any feeds threw A portal like SKWeezer or A Validator make any difference ?

Sorry if this is a repetition of someone else's post. With PD Pro when you get an e-mail that is an appointment invitation, you can't accept or decline etc by going through the PD interface. Is there a fix possible or is this another of the BB OS issues?

Mark, I am not sure the point of the enter key going to the mail application. I guess it frees up the "m" key to be assigned to something else. It would be much more useful if pushing the enter key would actually open the email in the native mail app rather than just going to the list and then having to hunt for the one you were reading. Is this possible?

I have to give you credit for finding the courage to post a question like that. Not only does your request suggest license violations, but you practically delivered a slap in the face to creator of the program along with everyone else, on this forum, that paid good money for the "worth every penny" program.

Do the right thing...enjoy the rest of your trial period, and if you feel that it's a worthy addition to your blackberry, then BUY a license for it. Otherwise, don't waste everyone's time by asking for such BS free handouts.

I work very hard at making a product that people feel is worth the price that I ask for. I think if you ask you will find that everyone here finds tremendous value in what they get with PocketDay.

Thumbs up

This is a great application and the new upgrade is even better. Everything is working just fine. I like being able to collapse the windows and the news feature is most excellent. And the world clocks are very smart. Thanks Mark for a fantastic product.

What Dawg said. You can do a security wipe on your handheld to get the 30 days back.

Thanks for the feedback. what is a security wipe ?? Could you provide a quick ''How To'' ?? I just returned to the world of BB from Treo Land, and do not remember having tried PD before.

Thanks ...

ahovis,

I wish I could launch the native message app with the current message. I wouldn't have had to write my own. Anyway, I'm hopeful that RIM will change things and open them up some more in the future.

Thumbs up superb!

Have upgraded from the std to the pro version.
Excellent, superb! VERY helpful for day to day
business and personal use. A product that
is a tribute to its creator and the BB platform.

Thank you!

Folks,

Posted 2.54 this morning...corrects a bug where PocketDay would error out if you selected a 6-hour refresh interval for an RSS feed.

Also, 2.53 changed the highlight for RSS feeds to be more like the other highlights with the arrow head.

Hi Mark,

I ask my question here as it may be of interest of other users ;)

I'd like to know if there is a way to select myself the refresh timer for the current weather and weather forecast. I am a bit concerned by the amount of data used everytime.

Thanks again for this nice piece of work !
