Default New to playbook

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,
New member here, and I have just joined the playbook club. My 32gig tablet arrived today, and I'm loving it. It's a nice companion to my 9800 torch.
So any recommendations on what apps to get?
Bye for now.

Depends what you want/like to do and where you live. There are many apps there - browse.

Apps - Scrapbook, GroovyNotes, Conqu, Magellan Compass, Poynt, ScoreMobile, VEVO, Splashtop, Solar Explorer, ...

Games - have a look at Modern Combat 2 Black Pegasus HD, Asphalt 6 Adrenaline, Angry Birds (various versions), Doodle Blast, Cut the rope, Mystery Pond, Gravity Burst, Pool Break, Downhill Bowling, Penguins v Polar Bears, Solitaire, Virtual Table Tennis, Sand Slides, Machinarium, ...

Some of these are on promotion and/or currently free, so keep an eye on them.

Look for featured apps and those highest rated. But there may also be inexpensive/free gems in the "New Arrivals" - precisely because they are new.

I believe Box.com is still offering a free 50GB (instead of the normal 5GB) cloud storage box when you activate the PlayBook Client on your account. If you need/want cloud storage its a good deal.

You're kidding right?

5 pages of new posts per day all about the playbook. And that's only one of the 4 playbook forums. The OP would get PILES of info on what apps to get from those forums.

You must get out more bud.

Nope. Not kidding. You're advertising a website, but you didn't even give the OP a link to some specific information that could help them, so you're just advertising. What is the Shaw carrier anyway? Are you just here to troll about Playbooks and Crackberry? Do you even have a BlackBerry?

Beyond that, 5 new pages a day is information overload.

As far as me getting out, I get out plenty pal. I haven't been home in a week.

Files & Folders is good to access the files from various cloud services, NewsPile is a good Google Reader Client, News360 is a good None Google Reader Client.

I'm not trolling (unlike your first post to me) and I sure ain't advertising. My post is the most useful one in this thread for a new Playbook owner. I'm really sure Ausguard can google crackberry forums and figure it out. And normally, new users can't post links until they have a certain number of posts.
Your attitude explains why this forum is mostly unused.

It all depends upon what you want to do with your Play book. This is what I would recommend.

1:- Need for speed Undercover
2:- Poynt
3:- Adobe Connect
4:- Gee Reader
5:- Scratch Pad
6:- Wather Eye
7:- Axvoice

Remember, if you don't know how to use these apps, just search the related videos on youtube.
