Question

Youtube gives me an error when I try and play it. My understanding is that it is working with Sprint and Verizon and OS 4.3 should do it. I am with TELUS... Any ideas?

If I go to blueapple.mobi it allows me to download but only plays the audio (no video). If I try streaming it definetly doesnt work.

unless I'm mistaken, the pearl doesn't play any flash files....

That may be the reason why, try using the mobile youtube website, for those with 8130's how is the qualit on the videos?

to be honest, I didn't know anything about m.youtube.com .... my ignorance has been cured. I just went to it via the bb browser, and played a few videos flawlessly !! that's awesome !

The quality is really good ! Amazing ! I am loving this phone more and more every hour ! lol. I find something new and great about this phone all the time.

That's pretty cool. I never knew about that. How may other websites can you put a "m" infront of for a mobile version?

There are a number but it is different... I believe that there is a list of websites posted somewhere on the forum.

Just got my Verizon BB 8130 and could not view YouTube videos.

that explained how to get it to work.

It seems that I changed my "Audio Boost" setting to "on" which caused the problem.

So go to the Menu, Media, Menu, Options, Scroll down to "Audio Boost" and make sure it is turned off. Be sure to "Save" the settings when exiting the options screen.

tinytube.net is another good one. Seems to have more videos then the youtube one.

Try Mobiola Video Studio from warelex.com LLC to convert YT video files before playing on BB.
