Default Blackberry Internet Problems

Please Login to Remove!

I would say for the past 2 days I have not been able to access the internet. It says "requesting"... but then it just lasts forever. Used to access it withing 10 seconds.

Also, any internet related services are either extreemly slow or non accessible. Any one else having these problems??

options, advanced options, host routing table, register now.
also check with your wireless provider see if the blackberry internet browsing service is turn on or not. basically there are two settings providers have to control what you can do on your bb, one is email, bis or bis bes both, the other one is internet browsing provisioning. from time to time the provisioning will act on its own.

swap bb see if that helps? if everything fails, definitely call provider and make sure everything is turn on for you.

I've been having the same issue. But only with Opera Mini and Facebook. I can get on the net with the BB Browser but all of a sudden Opera won't load a website and it just times out. Facebook also fails to load messages or friends list. Any ideas?

I have frequent connection problems like that with Opera Mini on my 8800. Blackberry Browser works fine.

Likewise. I have the same problem I am starting to think it may be something to do with our devices. If you or any other poster has a solution, please share with us.

Can anyone tell me if we should be able to access MSN Groups. I can get onto the home page, but when I try and access an individual group I just get the error message `connection timed out`. Which is why I`m posting this here.

For the opera users, make sure options advanced options tcp setting is correct to your provider settings. For a fact I know att just did an update for theirs weeks ago. Now their wap setting doesn't require user name or password.

Almost all third app depends on ur tcp setting, except viigo or similar cuz they have options to go through bis connection.

I also have t-mobile and have that problem from time to time. The first time, i had to call t-mobile and have them resend me all the service books. That worked for a while, then this last time they told me that i can resend the service books myself by deleting them in Options->Advanced Option->Service Book. Then you turn off the phone and turn it back on and register at Options-> Advanced Options-> Host Routing Table-> Register Now. That will resend most of the service books. Then you go on to my.tmobile.com and resend the email service books.
Hopefully that helps.

Now though, my phone's acting even weirder since updating to 4.2.1.109. Everything works except the internet, which means no browser, no gmail, no opera mini. Strangely enough, pin-pin still works. Before when my internet stopped working, my pin-pin would also stop working. Even after resending all the service books and doing a battery pull and all that other stuff, still no internet. Anyone have any ideas? Could it be my phone?
