Default 9630 browser / mms not working.

Please Login to Remove!

SMS works fine and I can access facebook without any issues but i've lost function of the MMS feature. Getting on the browser gives an error of "Your browser does not currently have any browser configurations service book entries". I tried the storm sticky and thats when the MMS feature was removed from the phone completely. Before I had it but it just wouldn't allow me to send out. I've tried to stickys of installing the os deleting the rim etc etc. Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues of if im just screwed.

Resend the service books.
Although I can't remember the Tour being on AT&T.

Yes i have a blackberry data plan through ATT. The phone is originally from Verizon. Sending the service books has done nothing and I've tried it atleast 10 times. On the top right hand side I have EDGE in all caps so I think I've done pretty much everything correctly.

I didn't realize a VZW branded Tour could be made to work on the ATT data network..it's true it has GSM as well as CDMA capability, but??? It will be cool if it works...my experience with VZW has been that you can show 1XEV or 3G, for example, in a CDMA world,or whatever but still not have all of the service books...so if my experience transfers to ATT, it could show EDGE but you'd still not have all of them... not to belabor a point, but did the vendor (ATT) resend the service books to you?

This has come up many, many times before.
AT&T doesn't offer the proper Service Books for the 9630. Or the 9530 before it. If they don't offer the model, they don't push the correct Service Books to it.

At the top of the 9500 Forum, there is a VERY long thread on how to make the 9530 work on T-Mobile or AT&T. Check it out.

lprmcnit, please read it also.

I have and I tried it numerous times. Can you explain the MMS feature being removed from my phone? After trying it once again I was able to get the MMS feature back but when I try to send out it says no service books / same for browser.

It is not that it is removed. You don't have the right service books.
I have used that thread to get 9530s and a new 9800 working on T-Mobile (same idea - carrier doesn't have the Service Books.

Try this: HowTo:Get All Features (Browser, MMS) Working on AT&T w/Unlocked Storm 95xx - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

It works.
