I would like to be able to stop the downloading of email to my BB9630
for a few days at a time.
I am mostly at home, using my computer and don't need to download
to both devices all the time.
I would like to turn my email on only when I'm going away from home.

Are you using BIS or BES?

Did you try a SEARCH?

You can remove the account from your BlackBerry. But other then no you can't.

Log in to your Email Settings icon on the device or your BIS from a computer and just the "Filters". Select "Do not Forward to Handheld" under "When No Filters Apply".

Then change it back when you want the emails to come to the device.

Just understand that when you turn it back on all the emails you didn't get will not come flooding onto your BlackBerry. You won't get them at all.

That is exactly what I would like to happen , Rambo
One thing I don't want is 3 email accounts to manage.
Mail application on my Desktop, Gmail on laptop and my Blackberry...
Since I don't leave home that much I was thinking I could eliminate
deleting all the stuff on my blackberry and help my download quota.

Thanks Dub, I did use the search first. I see that others
have asked the question but it was 2 years ago and was
hoping something had changed.
I am using BIS but just learned about this.
