I've had my AT&T Blackberry 8310 for about two years now. The phone has been through thick and thin and is working a'ok without any problems. Recently, I thought about changing the housing. I ordered a housing from a reputable seller on eBay and am excited about doing the swap
.
Approximately 6 months ago, I noticed the foam located in back of the phone (underneath the cover where the SIM/memory card/battery are) pealing. Stupid, I decided to peel it off. Well, before I knew it, I took out two tiny connectors which appear to have been placed under some kind of clips on the motherboard (they are part of the foamy material). These connectors are located on the left hand side of the phone and are attached to the foam that bears the xBear and GPS writing to the right hand side.
I doubt these things are antennas because I haven't had any reception problems but they must have some kind of use. If I'm going to be doing the swap, I might as well fix this while I'm at it.
Any help will be much appreciated.
