I know the unread marks table is a private view in the users mail file. But what would cause the error.

I don't know Domino that well at all but is this the error you are having?

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server for the IBM Lotus Domino messaging agent (MAGT) debug log displays the following line of code:

Unable to get unread note table for user CN=Username/O=COMPANY (You are not authorized to perform that operation)

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not have Manager access to the user’s mail file, and Delete documents is not enabled in the Access Control List (ACL) of the mail file.

For read and unread marked messages to reconcile properly, the IBM Lotus Domino server on which the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is installed requires Manager access to the mail files of BlackBerry-enabled users. Manager access is required because the unread table is a private view in the user's mail file database. Editor or Designer access does not allow private views of the database.

Please see KB-01469 for more information on required ACL permissions.

Yep, thats the error. I searched RIM's site, but didnt find that. Thanks, I'll take a second look at the users mail file acl.

Default Maximum read/unread checks per work packet reached (200).

Hi,

Is this a known error to anyone? I have it with one user. Server is Domino 6.5.3, BB server 4 SP4
ACL is correct, rebuilding the views in the maildb didn't help, restarting BES neither. Excerpt from log.nsf:

08/14/2006 11:50:47 OTAFM (username/OU/OU/O): can not store unread marks table
08/14/2006 11:50:47 OTAFM: Maximum read/unread checks per work packet reached (200). Re-queueing remaining checks.

With kind regards

Alfons Schoenmakers
