When you're on your home screen, press the Menu button and go to Options. You now have Homescreen Options. You can choose where downloaded applications go to, change/reset wallpaper, go to theme options and reset icon arrangement.

Also, if you highlight the Media icon, press the menu key and then go to Media Options, you get additional options for Closed Captions. Possibly for the upcoming television shows that Rim will be offering?

When editing profiles, we get some more vibrate options.

Length:
-Short
-Medium
-Long

Count:
1, 2, 3, 5, 10

With Volume now, you get to choose from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 instead of the three options before. And there's a Try It button at the bottom.

Also they're organized MUCH nicer in this one.

I haven't had a Storm so maybe these are options that the Storm has? I have no clue. Just mentioning what's different for the Bold. =)

Can we get a list going of which apps are working and which are not?
Not sure but I believe some of you said Facebook 1.5 is NOT. What about 1.2?

Also a new option for Conference Call information in Calendar events. And you can set default Conference Call info in the calendar options.

In the Setup folder on the home scree, you'll notice the following:
E-mail Settings
Email Settings

E-mail Settings takes you to the mobile website. Email Settings is a new application installed to manage your BIS account. I like this.

Make sure your APN settings are correct in TCP.

It's worthless if you cannot perform BES activation on it. No point for me to have it.

Activation took about an hour because the reception is worse in this build. Now I notice that none of my Blackberry messenger contacts ported over from the BES.

Also, then uncaught exception is probably caused by one of the unsupported apps. But this is a given as someone said before that a lot of the 3rd party apps will need to be recompiled using JDE 5.0 whenever it becomes available.

I'm finding applications to be a lot faster in this one. WeatherEye application used to have quite a lag when switching between forecast types and even to bring up the menu on the bottom. Now they are all almost instant. Also in Shazam, previously when cancelling a Tag function, there would be about a one second delay before canceling out. It now cancels very quickly to return to the main screen.

Reception is fine for me. All of my BBM contacts were restored. Maybe there is an issue with your BES server.

I noticed this too. When you type fast on it, it will skip letters. You can test this by repeatedly pressing a key really fast and you'll notice it skips some =(

Install went great for me. Was a little slow just after the re-boot. All the apps that I had installed worked great except for Windows Live Messenger. Installed fine, but can't find it anywhere on my phone as an icon.

Anyone else have this problem?
