Default Telenav GPS PIN?

Please Login to Remove!

Excuse my ignorance, but where would I get the PIN for this service?

Telenav? It's definitely not free. IIRC they have a free trial but it's definitely a pay service. Have you tried visiting the Telenav site?

No. I figured since the phone came with GPS, that it would have a free GPS option.

So it has GPS capability, but you have to pay for it? Lame

Come 8800"s come preinstalled with BB Maps (or it can be downloaded for free), from RIM. It provides real time GPS maps, tracking, etc. It is IMO, not in the same league as Telenav, but that is probably why Telenav charges $10.00/mo (well worth it for me), and BB Maps is free.

Check out Stinsonddog's Tips for a ton of useful GPS info.

To answer the OP...once you're signed up, the default PIN usually is the last four of your phone number.

Its no different than buying a cell phone. Its quite capable of making calls but they are not free??

Your PC is quite capable of running software but it's never free, even when it's bundled etc...And how about the cost of upgrading to better versions of this or that windows and on and on!!!

GPS is a valuable service to those who make a living at being on the road in strange locations and it costs Millions to implement I am sure.
