Question Import CAL's into BES

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way to import the CAL's from a file (txt, CSV, etc.)?
We've just implemented a BES system (4.0) and the managment decision was that each department we support would purchase they're own CAL's from the cell provider. The result is that as the BES admin, I'm receiving a steady stream of CAL's, usually 1 or 5 packs. They're already being entered into a spreadsheet, but since the server entry requires the 6 character groups, doing a cut and paste 5 times for each CAL is a pain. I'd like to be able to just get them out of the spreadsheet and import them all at once.

I apologize if this is a simple question that's been asked before, but unfortunately I've been tasked with the BES implementation/admin with no training; I'm figuring it out as I go along.. Sort of the "ready, fire, aim" management style..

This is a great question...I also have been thrown in the deep end to see if I can swim. So far I'm doing ok, and with this place as a floatation device I should be good to go.

Sorry...I just realized you are going to look at this thinking I had the answer for you...

You can insert them directly into the database. If you are using MSDE a good GUI would be Teratrax. But be warned, RIM takes this as an unsupported configuration if anything goes wrong...

Thanks. I'm not ready to try directly accessing the database, I'm not real strong on SQL. I was hoping there was some tool or "official" method of doing this with the BES software-
