Red face Blackberry hacked!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all! i have a big problem with this carzy hacker and now he has managed to get into my BB coz i am traveling and need to to use the wi fi. First he was able to install a vpn and blocked me from the internet or BBM and i somehow solved that although the VPN still shows in the log. But now he has managed to activate the BES on my phone!!! coz it shows on services status.

I went to the service book and found something called provisioning and then BES something but the delete option has been removed!!!

Also when i go to the VPN option it shows there are no profiles but in the log it is active
And there is this thing that keeps showing up in the log like 20 times in a row at times and then the phone crashes and iy uses all my batt :(
a system-VM:GRPE(GC)net_rim_services_impl and a whole bunch of letters symbols and numbers.

i dont even have that desktop service to avoid problems ;(

When i try to view the system files there is nothing when i open them although when i click on properties there is the number of bytes stored.

And when i try to do a security wipe the remove applications option is not clickable; i mean i cant select it. the same happens when i try to open the service book for wi fi transaport and the service status it appears as connected through the wifi.

I could re install the whole thing again but this person will just do this all over again!

So how could i get rid of that BES and the VPN?

thanks in advance for your help

Is this a corporate device, and are you asking how to circumvent corporate policy?

Oooh, that scamp and his BES hack!

Honestly, at this point you would be best served by selling your BlackBerry and buying an iPhone. There is no BES hack for the iPhone.

I keep mine in a cement box to prevent that BES hacker from getting into mine. So far it has worked. Every once in a while I hear it ring but never take it ouit so it's safe.

I heard a trojan is out that can send your iPhone date to a BES. Maybe OP would be interested in that virus scanner someone was selling a while back?

I didn't think to do that, I keep mine wrapped in foil which keeps the guys at the airport from reading my data but I might switch to a cement box. Hopefully it's small enough to be a carry on...

well, not according to this person......but there is a giant lawsuit coming to this person!! he is so far out gone that i know where he lives, he has admitted to doing this, leaves all the traces behind...like this of activating the BES on my phone and all the rest....all the evidence....but before that moves along and everything takes forever, i'd like to know how to stop the BES and VPN this person has installed

Something isn't adding up here. There are no known hacks for BlackBerry. If you're telling the truth, then follow these steps:

Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

That will essentially wipe your device and remove it from a BES server if it is on one. It will also remove any applications such as your VPN or whatever you claim is installed.

Before you do this, I would do a backup of your data so you don't lose your contacts and such. Then you could do a selective restore of just your contacts and calendar appts, if that's all you need.

i have done this many times but now when i want to do a security wipe i can't click on apps!!!
and now i have a connection to a desktop manager that i don't have, a bb logger, whatsapp....i tried to delete the service book for the BES provisioning but the delete option is not there and i cant open the wi fi transport book

everyone that is into this case is amazed at what this guy is able to do!!!

You need to go to the police and report the person that is or has done this.

We cannot help with that. Seems to me there is a lot more to this than just getting into your email and your BB.

What I posted isn't a security wipe from the device. It is using a 3rd party application to wipe the device. You just need to connect your BB to your PC and run the application and select the option to ResetToDefault.

Your tech guy? Hmm, makes me wonder. How sure are you that this tech guy isn't the one that installed the application or added it to the BES, etc?

I would suggest you do it yourself. The directions are pretty straight forward and there are people here to help if you get stuck.

BES admins have access to all kinds of data on your phone (even a personal one) once you're on the BES system.

BES Users FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ

If you're a BIS user it is far more likely this hacker has your email password and is accessing your email account from his pc. Getting access to your BlackBerry itself would require him to have it in his hands for a while and know your password.
