So, being an Outlook 2010 user I was happy to install DM6.
However, I must say that this piece of software is not so good!

I have a Storm2 conencted to my XP Pro PC (SP3) via bluetooth.

Firstly when it was working it used to frequently not copy some meetings between outlook and my BB calendar - there was no pattern to this, but always the same meetings would not sync. I had to force a resync each time to get this to work, and as the messagebox warns, I got some duplicates. I never had this issue with version 5 - it was always spot on!

Even worse now however, I cannot sync at all because when it finishes "Processing Device Calendar" I get the really useful error message "Error encountered. Error code - 0x8004fd28. Check documentation."

Of course, the documentation doesn't mentioned this informative and unambiguous issue.


This is the latest in a long line of issues with my BB experience over the last 20 months and I wonder if I will change manufacturer in January when my contract is up.

OK - so after searching around this forum for a while, I tried Tim's steps in the following post:

(You'll have to find it yourself - sorry - can't post a link as the forum says I'm too new!!! FFS!)

... and now DM6 will sync again, yay!

I'm not sure about the missing meetings yet though, so we'll see...
