Telus wants $429.99 on a 3 year plan for a 9630 Tour....
Do they wanna sell some phones, or are they turning us away from it?

What is new contract pricing? Sounds like it might be cheaper to cancel, pay the ETF and then sign back up. I used that reasoning at VZW once and they discounted a phone down from full retail. YMMV

If I'm not mistaken, you will lose your number going this route.

If I decide to go continue with Telus, I'll probably just buy it outright for $599. Maybe I just sign up with Verizon.....
