Question Need Help STICK "A" KEY!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all whats up?

This is my first post I am a new user and thanks for having me in the thread.
I got a issue with my BB Bold. For some reason my "A" key is "sticky". Whenever I am texting and need to use the "A" key it goes crazy on me. If I hit it once or even get close to it (if i hit the Q, S, ALT, Z keys) it types a million As.

Perfect example is if I wanted to say" Whats up and are you ok" would look like.

Whaaaaats up aaaaad aaaare you ok?

Whenever I hit it, it types a million As...its tough texting, typing my PW and everything :/

Anyone know whats wrong?

Has the device been wet or in a humid environment? Your problem is indicative of water/moisture damage.

Could also be dirt and lint around the keypad if you carry it in a pocket.

I live on the east coast it is always humid here. Hasnt really been exposed to water damage..I do cook a lot and work do I may have answered a call when my hands were wet or what not. But I have opened the keyboard and cleaned it and it was ok for a few days then started up again.

Someone told me its a motherboard issue...which I hope not

Sounds like moisture. Generally more things happen as time goes by. Maybe time for a new BB?
