I just found it and downloaded it. I'll install it as soon as I can get back on my comp. I have been removed from the comp by the little women in my house! LOL!!

Make sure you all continue to post as you discover improvements or bugs, or if everything seems the same... You're all my guinea pigs!

I have noticed one thing already. on my phone there seems to be alot less lag on MMS and SMS esp when sending. I had loaded a vista theme on mine with the .77 it seemed at buggy switching menu screens, and seemed to hang just a tad. .97 seems to be faster at loading menus and I don't get the hour glass so much. I guess this may be cause of the increase in memory.

The ringer appears to be there (unlike the .77 beta), for themes I see:

BB Dimension Icon
BB Dimension L
BB Dimension Today
BB Dimension Zen
Bell (Provider theme)

I didn't modify vendor.xml to include any others, just nuked it and upgraded.

There used to be a little annoying pause between hitting the "Answer" button and actually being able to hear the other party on the phone with 4.5.0.77 That seems to have been resolved.

Not to hijack... but has this been released for 8830? I thought both CDMA device beta leaks usually come out at the same time?

After installing .97, did it take a REALLY long time for the device to restart and apploader to re-connect?

I didn't notice it being a really long time. I did back-up my files, delete them off the phone, and pull the media card before I started. I have read that the more data you have back-up and restore the longer it takes.

i had a complete hassle installing .97

app loader would just stop responding when backup up, i had to completely backup my 8330 manually, wipe my device, install .97

go back in DM and install components, and reinstall all of my 3rd party apps.

worst os upgrade ever.
