How is that a fix? I want to be able to use the feature " ON and OFF " like in 4.2.2. It was there for a reason and i guess the reason is gone in 4.5.0. SUCKS but i hope they fix/catch that minimal bug.

Has anyone here found the 4.5.0.48? and can they confirm if the VoiceMail icon issue was resolved in this release....

Please I am missing a lot of VM since I dont have good signal at my work nor a WiFi access. So, this will really help me.

Edit: I am running .44 on my 8320 Curve on Tmo USA

I did read here that 4.5.0.48 fixed the voicemail icon issue.

I'm looking forward to a fix for the msg waiting indicator problem also. YouMail might help, in that I could get a message sent to me, but I'm missing the mwi, and I know that YouMail won't turn on the wmi for us T-Mobile customers just yet...

I'm running .42 now on my 8300, and got excited to hear that .48 addresses the wmi problem. Now I have to hope that it, or perhaps an official release of 4.5.x.x comes out soon, so I don't miss any more voicemails languishing unheard!

Take my word on YouMail. It is light years better than a functioning TMo voicemail system. I'm not switching back! (It's real easy to switch back, FWIW.)

Is there a way to have youmail prompt you for a password when you retrieve vm's?

Putting a lot of betas out there to see what works? What a novel concept.

Seriously people, don't run unsupported betas if you need verything to work. Heck, ever the supported code has bugs. As does ALL production code.

...makes me wonder why people are so intent on bashing RIM as they are testing beta OS releases.

Your bugs = RIM testing different code.

I don't know if RIM increases the number by 1 when they make a new build, but I don't think it's that many if they've done 48 builds. Not sure about RIM, but a build in my old company's system could be as little as two or three items. Still counts as a new build the same as if they made 100 changes.

I can personally wait, I don't need a beta, I'm not a paid tester for the company and don't know what they are testing in each build they make changes.

It has not been released, no.

Leaked is the better word.
