Default I messed up big time

Please Login to Remove!

I deleted in service books (advanced options -service books) a file entitled "desktop" referencing my office computer. Then when I went to "default services" I deleleted the one option for 'contact list (sync)".

What did I delete and how the heck can i correct it?

Unless you're on BES. Then I think perhaps the BES admin can resend them to you.

In the future.. don't delete service books

Either way it is a fixable problem. Not a major "mess up"

I just tried that, and it didn't work. That particular file is still absent.

Press the menu key and you should see an undelete option.

If not, contact your BES admin and ask them to resend the service books. You will be back in business.

Or pull the battery with the BB powered on and see if they come back.

You can always re-install the OS that should help.

Angry

I'm pulling out whatever hair I had.

My curve had BIS/BES (personal email and desktop). I gave the device to my wife and set up her email through BIS. I went to change the default calendar and couldn't. Only had an option of personal email and desktop, but nothing listed as an option for device default (which is how the alternative calendar is labeled when I go to select calendar in the calendar program.

SO, I removed service books (if that's what they're called) for "desktop". Now the only option for default is the personal email, and once again the "contact list (sync) listing is gone.

I tried the undelete option again, but this time no go.

close to bald. Can you save the last few hairs I have left?
