If nothing can escape a black hole, including light, how does the emission jets escape?

Something a little more difficult: What does "wipe phone" mean and what happens when it gets wiped?

Also, why is the BlackBerry OS update feature such a pain in the butt to install?

Finally, how long does it average to complete step 4, updating applications?

Bi cycle

I dare say the OS upgrade is not difficult or troublesome for almost everyone, but some people do have problems. It isn't risk free.

I can't answer the question on what exactly a wipe does. Practically, it results in a 507 error which then allows you to re-install the OS when some glitch has otherwise left the BlackBerry unresponsive.

I'm not sure what step 4 is. As to upgrading the OS or re-installing the OS, figure a good hour of your time, maybe less, but not much more. An hour and a half at the most, total.

I've installed the loader into my laptop.
I'm using Vista, and followed your instruction to do 'Run as Administrator', but after that, nothing's happen.
How to open the application after I install the loader?
Please help.
Thanks before.

hi,

I am experiencing a tech issue with my BB 9000. This started when I upgraded my yahoo messenger. Every now and then i encounter an error that says "caught 3x3" (something like that). I uninstalled and reinstall my ym messenger and that message still appears. Also, some apps available in the bb site is not compatible with my phone or it wont install properly.

Please advise.

Hello all

I bought a blackberry curve 8320 from usa and it came with it policy (Data and Phone)
I have tried everything (JL_Cmder and CrackUtil). The problem is that computer doesnt detects the blackberry. Its like i have conected nothing in the computer.I guess it policy blocked that USB connection, i have also tried Bluetooth conection but only modem options are permited.
When i plug the blackberry in computer the battery image shows the flash icon for 2 secs and then it disappears. The charger is working, problem is USB - Computer.
I have also tried another cables and another computers and USBs.
I cant send it back to USA im in Brazil =/

Can anyone help me please??

1. I downloaded the JL_Cmder v1.9.1.zip file. I then copied it to the "Public Downloads" folder.
2. Logged in as the PC's administrator.
3. Extracted the JL_Cmder v1.9.1.exe from the zip file and put it on the desktop.
4. Right clicked on JL_Cmder v1.9.1.exe and ran as Administrator (probably wasn't necessary since I was already logged on as Administrator). I deleted the shortcut for JL_Cmder on the desktop since it pointed to the wrong place and I didn't need it.
5. Opened a Command Prompt and then typed "cd c:\Program Files (x86)\JL_Cmder"
6. I typed:
JavaLoader -u -wMyblackberrypassword resettofactory
because I was trying to reset my BB to the original factory settings, including erasing any previously set BES policies.

(After typing this up, I found a more complete explanation of the process at enduserguides.com/mobile/blackberry/eug_bb_factory.html )
I HAD A BETTER UNDERSTANDING AFTER READING THE LINK. THANKS A LOT.

No, once it is unlocked, it will remain unlocked. Reloading the OS will likely correct your issue.

If you have an 8800 as your profile states, follow the directions to the letter in the first post here:
