Start, Run, type:
%CommonProgramFiles%\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files
You should see at least one OS directory here such as "8100-v4.2.1.101_P2.3.0.80". Double click it. Inside you should see 2 directories and several .alx files.

Nothing Zero Zip. What I did I installed the software that came with the phone then I went to blackberry web site download the latest SP2 installed it. Then I think I mess up because I downloaded the latest device manager and USB drivers and Installed them when then I notice Desktop Manager was gone so I reinstalled the latest SP again for desktop manager.

Does the latest Desktop Manager has the latest OS?

Thanks

Desktop Manager is independent of the handheld OS because each device has its own OS bundle. Check out the very first sticky thread for the latest Pearl OS.

No. Desktop Manager (which includes Device Manager) is separate from the OS package. Download the OS that matches the OS installed on your device from here:

Device Manager comes packaged with Desktop manager.

There are two versions, one comes with media manager, the other without.
Desktop Software v4.2 SP2 without Media Manager (English) is about 51MB. I think the other one is 150MB+.

Device software for the Pearl (the OS) comes separately and is about 75MB. The filename for the latest one is:
8100M_PBr4.2.1_rel164_PL2.3.0.80_A4.2.1.101.exe. Get it in the sticky thread.
