Default ---emails sent from desktop appearing on bb---

Please Login to Remove!

there is something weird about my new BB.
everytime i send an email from my laptop, a new messagge appears on my BB.
i cannot get rid of the message icon that continues to count on.

is there a method not to have those emails displayed as "new messages" on the BB?

thanks to all

Welcome to BB Forums!

This is a very common question.

Go into Messages; click the Menu key and go to Options.

Select EMail Settings. Click the Menu key again and select Folder Redirection

Expand the mailbox name and remove the Check Mark next to Sent Items.

That should do it....

NJBlackberry,

This may be a TMobile variation, but the Options menu in my Messages only consists of General Options and Email Reconciliation.

I'm trying to accomplish the same thing as ZazzaNM -- keep all my sent mail from coming to my BB as new messages.

Would appreciate any help

Are you using Google Mail? If so, there is a Sticky Thread with the answer.

NJBlackberry,

Maybe I just stink at searching, but I couldn't find this sticky. Got a link?
