Default "Do More" icon?

Please Login to Remove!

This is weird: this morning I noticed a new icon on my 8100's menu, right at the top where I couldn't have missed it before. It's labelled "Do More". I asked my administrator and he didn't know what it was. I hooked my phone up to my PC and looked in the app loader, but nothing new shows there.

I searched on BBForums to find out what it was, but came up empty.

When I clicked the icon open, it opened the browser and brought me to BBForums. (That's the last browser page I had visited, when I searched for this issue).

Any ideas what this icon is about, why it appeared now and why it's pointing at my browser?

I've seen that icon before, I just cannot remember. Do you have Infospace FindIT! installed?

Try to severe your wireless connection and try launching it telling NO if asked to turn on your wireless radio. see what error loads?

No Infospace FindIt installed, no.

I tried what you suggested. It opened the browser and gave me a dialogue saying "Radio is turned off, try turning it on or contact admin". The dialogue had "Ok" and "Save Re..." as buttons at the bottom. Neither one does anything. I get to the BBForums sign-in page and it stalls.

However, when I go to my email, it shows two URLs as outgoing messages (www.blackberryforums), stalled because no radio. Just my failed page requests, I imagine.

i got the same thing this morning and it definitely wasn't there before. It must have gotten pushed to my phone.

When I click it it goes to my providers portal page.

I just noticed it after my service books were repushed to my 8700g on rogers. It appears to be unique to them with services listed on a wap page.

It's a link to a Rogers' advertisement to d/l applications such as Telenav, eoffice, etc. I just hid this annoying icon.
