ok well i have posted a couple things about my curve with battery problems after upgrading to the new os 4.5. well i found out my problem. on my curve if i record a video it takes away 5% of the battery and if i watch a video it takes away another 5%. well so far this has been the only explanation that helps me solve my battery issue.

Which 4.5 OS did you install out of curiosity?

what ever the standard one for att its like .151 or something like that but i just checked it on the phone and it said 4.5.0.110

How long is your video? I just did a 10 second recording and playback and nothing changed in my battery level.

i just did like a 15 second video to test out the quality. Then when i stopped it and saved it and stuff i closed everything out i noticed my battery dropped and i just pulled it off the charger. so i looked at the status and it dropped 5% then i went back tested it to see if it would do it again and it did.. so then i thought well i wonder if it will be the same if i watch a video off the net. i tried it and that lowered it to by 5%. but that i can see maybe it was becasue of loading the website and streaming the video. but still recording a video lowered it by 5%

That does not sound right at all?

You have got to have something running in the back ground or a battery problem. I have used my video numerous times and have had nothing like the draw you are indicating you are seeing on the battery?

well my phone froze up today so i did a battery pull. then after that i was gonna test the video thing again. so i made 10 videos and i watched all of them. so then i checked the battery level and it stayed the same as it was before all the videos. so i guess the battery pull did the trick. lol i don't know how tho
