There used to be a camera icon on my curve 8310 and now it is gone. i can still use the right convience key, but i'd like the icon back anyway.

how do you get it back?

Go to your home screen press the menu key and select show all. It may be "hidden" if that doesn't help, check each folder, and see if it's in a folder, or even hidden in a folder.

If all else fails, try a battery pull.

The icon is not hidden and it is not in any other folder. The battery pull did not bring it back. The weird thing about this is there is not an option to even delete this icon, but yet it vanished?

Switch themes and see if it shows up.

Try Options -> Screen/Keyboard, and see if you can set on the conveniece keys to open the camera.
