For anyone who is having issues with their ringtone volume. I've had .81 for about a week and it is my observation that there is no noticable improvement in this OS.

I am running .81 running on t-mobile usa. Ever since I upgraded to any of the 4.5 versions my phone randomly resets. And I have to wait for 5 min to come back. Any ideas??????

You might be in for a long wait - T-Mobile is notoriously slow, they are still offering 4.2.2.180 while everyone else (including RIM itself) is offering 4.2.2.184 for you. Waiting on T-Mobile to release anything official is a long shot.

The newest 4.5 OS's are far better than even 4.2.2.184.

That's good to know cause I was having trouble with the volume being about 50% LESS with 4.5 then with 4.22. I am waiting for a fix b4 I go back to 4.5 as I have reverted back to 4.22. I difficult of a fix can it be?

Okay, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. This shouldn't be this dificult.

I have Desktop Ver 4.6, and I've downloaded the OS, installed it, removed Vendor.XML, and it doesn't recognize that I need an upgrade...

I'm not on a PC that's affiliated with the email account on the BB, but I tell it that I'm on the BES during the desktop install...

Any ideas?

Default Lost Preloaded Pictures After Upgrade to 4.5

Hello. I have a 8320 and was using t-mobile 4.2 software. I recently upgraded to 4.5 and while the OS is working fine I seem to have lost all of my preloaded photos. The only one I'm really interested in is orbital.jpg. Can anyone tell me how to get it installed on my 8320. Thanks.

Upgrades last weekend and went with no problems.

I love the BB Messenger Voice note option now!

One option i'm having a issue with is again BB messenger. Anytime the phone goes to sleep or I exit from the "Messenger" portion to say goto Email. It auto closes all my conversations. I really don't like that. I prefer to manually close them. Can this be changed?

Upgraded last week. Gave it some time to marinate in my phone.

Pros-
WiFi is a ton better
Keeps UMA signals with less drops
Memory Leaks fixed
Noticeably quicker

Cons-
None thus far

Well thats basically it.

I just upgraded to 4.5 yesterday. Everything is working great so far, so thanks for that. However, when browsing after 15 min the hour glass starts spinning non stop, and i have to do a battery pull to fix it.it still won't let me browse longer than 15 min. has anyone had this problem if so, what do I need to do to fix this. I have t mo 8320. thanks in advance.

I went through all the instructions and deleted the vendor.xml then connected my bb. I didnt get the prompt to upgrade so i followed the other instructions in here and went to the advanced section but their still wasnt the option to upgrade OS so I went to the browse option to add files and went to the folders where the vendor.xml file was located and added each file seperately yet when i try to upgrade it now says it cannot be loaded because some files are missing, i added every file in the folder so Iam lost now any help would be appreciated

what are you not running to have that much free memory? I upgraded to this OS and I'm stuck somewhere between 15-19 mb free even after the standard memory mods.
