update i have been using it since about 8am today so far very nice ap only one java exception i sent logs for them to look at but very nice ap

it works fine for my yahoo account, but once I open my hotmail account.....crash and burn! It kicks me off every time.

Yeah, I'm having a little trouble with the OTA download. It hangs although I have all bars and EDGE. Is it supposed to work with the 8100?

Im up and running now. Are you able to remove the buddies that aren't logged on from the buddy list?

Also, I have recieved the following error twice- Uncaught Exception: Application JiveTalkxxxxxxxx... is not responding; process terminated

Default Beta Update

Hi all,

Thanks for everyone's interest in downloading the application. For those of you who have sent me a PM but have not heard back, I will get back to you with install info before EOD today.

We have encountered a few problems installing OTA. For those of you who cannot install OTA, please send an email to [email address] and I'll send you a desktop install zip file.

There have been a few reports of the application crashing with a large buddy list. We've isolated the problem (hopefully...), and have put out a new build.

You can get the new version directly from the application by going to menu - about jivetalk, and select "Update". Or, you can reinstall with the same OTA link.

I've been running it all day with no problems. I'm just updating it to .14.

There were one or two things that I'd like to see changed and I've e-mailed Kai who seems to very supportive on suggestions and is very prompt in returning mail.

Great program and a very good developer.

Thank you for the software. I have successfully installed it and added my accounts. My buddies, however, do not show up and will not add.

I am not sure what to do now.

i assume you hit log-in after you added the accounts?

after the login returns, your buddy list should load within a few seconds, does it just hang there?

Thanks for the quick reply. I pulled the battery and added the accounts again. Everything worked for me except Yahoo. It says that I am logged on in another place.

Is there anyway around this?

I'm not sure about your yahoo problem. Yahoo only allow you to log in from one place at a time, so you'll get this message if you've logged into the same yahoo account from another place (like your desktop yahoo messenger). This can also happen if you have your desktop yahoo client set to auto-login.

If this is not the case, then you're probably getting the message in error due to a bug in the program.

If you would like, you send send the application log by going to menu - view log - send log.

So far its a very good app
Loaded it up the first time worked great for me,still logged on sinced this afternoon which has been a problem with a few other 3rd party messengers.
Signed in to all my sn's without a problem.

if this stays free this could be the start of a new relationship. i currently use webmessenger and pay for a yearly subscription so i hope this is one of those apps. Sent my logs. Works really nice on 8700g i have aim msn and yahoo all working fine. about to add google and icq soon to max it out and see how it performs.
