I will look into it.

But Notifire should be really easy to add, delete, modify on the fly, no complex setup.

Basically it follows the profile model except that now you are defining them on a per contact basis rather than just ALL messages.

thats weird ems I had no problems at all on my 7520 I installed it disabled the tones in my options set up the address with the new tones and boda boom it was up and rolling

Dawg,

After we pin messg. the other day I installed it, setting up runs great, just like the instructions say, I have hot contacts w/ yahoo, gmail, msn and also a couple @messaging.nextel.com all setup which are in my address book, I hit escape to get out of Notifire and the emails come in but no pop up window or alert like the instructions say. I also turned off the alerts in profiles like you said. AM I MISSING SOMETHING?

Did you go into each contact you added and choose what you want it to do? By default it won't do anything you have to select a ringtone, vib, ect for each. Can be a pain but no generic defaults. I didn't have a problem at all with my 7520

Yeah, and I also just checked, all have a song, volume and either vibe, LED or Blight and none for timeout.

AM I correct the prog will work by just hitting the esc button to exit to the main BB screen?

He didn't yet, he pin messaged me and we both have PocketDay running, we closed it totaly but still did not help. He and I are waiting to hear back from eradis who is the creator of the program, he PM's me his e-mail and told me to contact him to get it working this morning, have not heard back from him yet.

Who is jwaters? The test version I sent out to the selected few will only work on your devices (i.e. locked to your pin).

If you sent it to someone else as well, they could run the application ( and set up "hot contacts") but would never be notified.
