I tryed this trick with the firewall and nothing. I get this error on the homescreen of pocketday "java.io.ioexception:permission denied" help? I do have the tiral version does that make a difference?

Are you a corporate BB user? Who is your cell carrier? What settings do you have in the pocketday communications screen.

is there a way to make PD default coming up and will nextel 2ways missed show up as missed calls?

Tritan, I don't know if nextel 2-ways will show up as missed calls. To make pocketday your standby screen go to pocketday settings / utilities and set the show pocketday after x minutes to a 1.

ALso, your communications are set up fine. Is your firewall DISABLED?

firewall off, I did another reset 4th one and it showed up. strange isn't it. I just got a nextel beep and nothing shows up for missed calls that is a huge bummer!!! I get more beeps then calls so I will still have to pop back and forth between the default if I buy this program. How do I get the flights status to show, I don't see that section of the programs?

You need to go down to where it specifies search type and change it to flight status by typing "f" or toggling it with the space bar.
