Is there a way to get HTML emails without using the getting the pictures feature when in the email. Understand that sending HTML is a memory and data hog, but what's the point if you have to constantly jump through hoops to get them. My iPhone gets them without a problem. Why do I have to convert the email everytime?

You don't. If the images are embedded into the email, you won't have to select that option. But what you're seeing are images that are actually links. You will have to get those manually as it is a security feature RIM puts into place.

To test this. Send yourself a picture in an email (not as an attachment). It will load normally on your BB.

Wirelessly posted

True. In fact some of the emails I get have one or two small images that are in the email, and others that are links. The embedded images are there without having to do get images.

I like the feature, though I would say the capability to set 'safe sender' would be a nice improvement some day.

What does it mean when it says it's going to expose my address? Am I selling the store when doing so? The sender has my address as that's how I got the email, is this confirming the address?
