Do you get a bold wifi logo? Do you get UMA? Go to Options >Advanced Options >Browser and set the default browser to wifi browser.

Then that means you are connected to wifi for data but not phone calls. You should be able to use your browser, though. Try setting your default browser to something else as I described above.

You may need to change some settings on your router, as well. Check out BlackBerry FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ for info on wifi/uma settings.

Default weird, but.....

Thanks again. This is weird, as I sit in front of my PC, no wireless router hook-up. Its allowing me to browse fox news.I did go in advance settings an Default Browser configuration: Internet Browser. Not Wifi since all here are WEP.
At Home I'm using a 2Wire router. So that said, where's it getting its signal?
If I may, Whats /uma?
again thanks I'm new to all this.
