Is there any chance we can get the new voda (color) themes as stand alone downloads? I'm pretty happy with the current telstra I already have on my 8700.

Thanks!

First two have been there, but the last one is a bummer if that feature is needed. I haven't used that feature but intended to as I have now done the upgrade, and btw my BBM icons do show up in the zen theme.

Whoaaa.... Can someone confirm this please??? If this is true, this would seem like a major reason to upgrade, at least for me.

I use Jabplite (free finances management program - great program, btw) and am increasingly having more and more data on it every day. I read a post of someone else saying how he backed up all his data using the BB desktop thinking it would also backup 3rd party software data, only to find that all his data on Jabplite was gone. Ever since then I"ve been worried.

btw, re the Zen theme, I actually don't see what the fuss is about Zen. I use the Dimension ICon, but modified with the Theme Builder with transparent icons, and even the background image for the battery/signal bar is transparent, so it effectively does what the Zen does (which for me is giving me an unobstructed view of my desktop image). Maybe I'll take a shot and post it separately.

Anyway, which is why this new OS didn't interest me much until I read the bit about the backup of 3p app data. I'm still on .286. Is there really any other reason to upgrade to higher versions?

Default interesting. . .

So I upgraded my previous OS (309 or something) to this newer version and I lost the Voda Today theme. I did use the new .alx file that jibi provided. That said, I also didn't receive the new color icon version of the standard Voda theme. Any ideas on what caused this, or how to correct it? The Bell and Verizon themes are there though. . .

cs

EDIT: I got the Voda Today theme re-installed, but I still have the old versions. . .

The "latest" themes -other than Voda Today- are probably with the
Bharti/O2 Europe Release .466/App Version .351.
Voda Today theme still needs to be copied over from a previous install
into the new folder to install on the phone.
Do not forget to use jibi's .ALX for this unless you are brave enough to
modify the original for yourself as Seattle18 suggests.
