I usually do this on the top 3 entries then do a battery pull and you should be set.

hmm ok, the only thing I can think of then is to make sure it isn't hidden. On the home screen click ALT and hold it down while clicking the track wheel when the menu pops up hit show all and see if it shows up. Otherwise if it's greyed out on the desktop manager I have no idea where it would be then.
Sorry.

Look in your service books, do you have a browser service book. If not call your carrier. If so then make sure the icon is not just hid.

besides making sure it isn't hidden since you just did that, Soapm has your next step.

I had the same problem but a (not so quick) call to TMO solved it. I had the rep send the browser but I think he sent the whole package as all the things I had hidden, for lack of my use, showed back up. All is well now. A call should do it.

everyone is seeming to have different options in 4.1. some people have bluetooth sync, some don't. some have snooze options in calendar, some don't, etc, etc. is this a result of downloading the Hong Kong version of 4.1? will there be improvements when we download a carrier-specific version?

I also see alot of people posting problem without posting what phone and carrier they have, that might contribute to a lot of confussion. Just my 2 cents.

Here's one common element - I bet virtually no one is using HK CSL or the Indian carrier - you know; the only carriers to have "tested" this version of 4.1 and the only carriers to support it.
I'm waiting for T-Mobile's released version myself.

I'd try it out... I may go back to the 7100 from the 8700 now, that they have the same features. Working great on rogers 7290 and 7100 for me.

Do you have a link to the Indian carrier's handheld code?

Did anyone notice when you do a manual search it now displays the type of network i.e. 1G, 2G, or 3G? Pretty useful if you have an EDGE device and there are a few networks to choose from while roaming.
