hello. I am thinking of getting the 7130e With Bell Canada. I have NEVER had or even operated a BB before. It will mainly be phone, then email/web. What I am most concerned about is the web browsing. How does say eBay look on it? Are there any restrictions?

And can I am Yahoo or MSN messenger on this phone?

Check the BlackBerry FAQ (below) for info about instant messaging.

You can do instant messaging, but you may have certain limitations on the BlackBerry on Bell Mobility's network that might prevent you from using most IM software programs without getting a BES hosting service. This may be different for the 7130e, I am not sure...

However, the web browser on the 7130e should work very well though, web sites load pretty fast on the 7130e, and eBay works fine on it. I haven't seen anything restricted in web browsing on the 7130e compared to other BlackBerry models.

Thanks for the reply. But you have clarified a question - you said there is nothing restricted compared to the other BBs. But what restrictions are there USUALLY for BB users? Maybe that is what I wanted to know in the first place.
