What works well for me is to slip a finger nail under the clear (front) section in the cutout for the Mute button (top left). Gently pull the clear up and forward (gently), and then the top left corner should release. I then repeat the step on the left side cutout for the headphone/USB port. At this point removal of the clear face should be possible.
Keep in mind all of this is done gently, and if you feel like you are pulling too hard - STOP. I have had two cases and one was far easier to remove than the other. Also, I would advise against removing a case when the case is cold (below 40xxx730; F), the plastic will be far less forgiving.

What I use...
BlackberrySource.com - BlackBerry Curve Clear Case and Holster
I like it because I can use it w/ the case standalone or use it with the holster. I've had bad luck with clip type holsters in the past, this one no exception. If I am really going to doing some impact type activities, I just put the BB in a pocket.
The clear case is nice in that doesn't really add much to the BB. I like the fact that it protects the screen. It has all the appropriate holes cutout and everything.
I did have to modify the holster to add a magnet from an old defunct holster. I guess the makers thought it would take away from the asthetics of the clear plastic to have a magnet in it.
Hope that helps.

I'm going to go with this set up. Its all SEIDIO but I'm only buying the holster bit from them and the crystal case from ebay for $5 which is $25 cheaper that what SEIDIO wants you to pay them for it.
and the crystal case has grip grooves on the side and an optional belt clip attachment.

as a person who needs to pull my battery every other day or so is the Seidio Rubberized Case the wrong choice for me? I really like what that case has to offer but i really dont want to press my luck with opening and closing it so often.

I just posted my review and pix of the Designio leather case in the Hardware and Accessories forum.
http://www.blackberryforums.com/hard...ase-curve.html
I was going to get the Aviator case that pcgirl has but I decided to go with this one instead.
Thanks,
eagle

no the rubber peels back quickly. you can remove it as many times a day you want easily without worrying about damaging the shell of you Curve.

Have to agree with MadDog. I just put on the BestSkinsEver full skin on my 8310 this weekend and it is great. I keep my 8310 in my pocket, and in my opinion, this is the best option for someone who doesn't use a holster or case. I will give a bit of a warning: the full skin comes in 6 pieces, and the two thin side pieces are frustratingly difficult to apply. But once you get them on correctly, they look and work great.

Like someone said, the phone itself is pretty exposed to the elements, so I've paired it with a BSE. I use this holster whenever I can't fit my phone in pocket. When it's in my pants, the OEM silicone case goes on

Leather pouch with swivel - my fav...
I use one of these with a BSE skin on the screen. I realize we all have difference requirements and preferences but I love the cases this guy sells.
Top quality leather, snug fit, swivel allows for horizontal or vertical positioning, magnetic flap make it easy to get the BB out in a hurry and has the BB Magnet allowing the BB to hibernate. This is off eBay but at $9.95 its hard to go wrong! This is my 3rd one from this guy as each new model I search out a case and end up buying from this store.
This is the one one bought but he has several different designs for each model so check out his store.

The soft rubber sleeves like the OEM ones, not the hard rubber that SEIDIO sells.

Not really I had mine on for a week now and no problems with dust sticking to them.
It is a dry grippy rubber, not the extra sticky iPod iSkin rubber.

I like what I see!
SEIDIO is giving me a headache with using PayPal to pay them so this is going to be my next case.
So far those Crystal Clear Hard Case suxs! Dusts gets in there and when you drop it, it doesn't seem too secure since it clips in and the clips just unclips the minute it impacts the floor and your exposed berry is flying across the pavement. Its only good if you carry your berry in a purse or bag so I'm giving it to my gfriend.

I just picked up a clear, hard case from Ebay. I had tried the OEM rubber sleeve cases that you can get from AT&T or TMobile and didn't care much for the fit and quality of the case, especially for the price.
For a little under $10 bucks, shipping, tax included I got this case that I LOVE. It's sleek, not too bulky and is a hard plastic, so if you drop your phone, its saved. It has a clip that is an optional attachment on the back of the case. I don't use that as I don't like the bulky feel of it and usually keep my phone in my pocket anyhow. You can check it out at:
fr BLACKBERRY 8300 8310 8320 CURVE CLEAR SKIN CASE+CLIP - (eBay item 130178479936 end time Nov-29-07 21:32:07 PST)
I also have ordered an invisible shield from invisibleSHIELD | iPod Case, Screen Protector, Cover, Shield, Skin, Invisible Shield for the screen. I had one on my Pearl and they are the best.
