I have not seen anyone else on Sprint chime in, but I have installed 4.1 and it works great for Sprint (so far). I have not had but a day to really try it out, but the process was smooth.

Regarding the 1X, 1XEV, and Data Connection Refused, issue, I have had some good luck in maintaining a 1XEV connection by doing Options --> Network and choosing Home Only for Network Selection Mode. Does anyone else have this selected or have tried this. Is there any downside (besides having to switch to Automatic when I travel outside of Verizon?)

I did the upgrade last week but just got a chance to test tethering.

I am tethering right now from NYC with a 1XEV displaying.

Not sure if this is why it works for me but I did not install the new 7250 software on my laptop. (I use Desktop Manager on my office PC)

I have only received 1 Data Connection Refused since upgrading and I used to get it everyday, so for me 4.1 seems better at switching from 1X to 1XEV as I seem to have a problem with the towers near me in Monroe Twp, NJ.

The non-ability to type in a name from the phone app is a lil annoying but I can live with it. I like having the ability to set different ringers for different contacts.

Does seem faster with web browsing.

Would be nice if VZW can add to this version when they release their 4.1

Now I have to go find this Plazmic theme app...

Hi folks -

Can anyone tell me if I will need to reinstall all of my apps when I do the upgrade on my VZW 7250 (to 4.1)?????

Thanks in advance -

Thumbs up just loaded the 4.1 on my bell 7250

and it works great - only issue i have is that my missed call/mail indicator seems to disappear from time to time... but that could have more to do with the pixelistic theme (looks pretty good) than with the os...
